Harley's Star
Happy Birthday Harley
December 24, 2014
My Dearest Harley,
Astrophysicists say that every single atom in your body-the nitrogen in your DNA, the calcium in your bones, the iron in your blood -was created in a star billions of years ago. People are amazed to learn that they are made of stardust; that all matter, from stars to planets, to animals, to people, comes from the same source, that everything in the Universe has been connected since the beginning of time. You, and everything around you, every rock, tree, butterfly, bird, and building, comprises atoms that originally arose from millions of burning and exploding stars.
We come from stars.
You come from Stars Harley....
Without stars, life could not exist. We are made of chemical elements formed in stars and scattered through space. We are stardust with the gift of consciousness and boundless curiosity. We live because stars died; it's that simple.
Every year, as your Birthday is approaching, I wonder how to top my gift to you from the previous year, how to overshadow any other gift imaginable.
I've always told you, that if I could, I would give you the sun, the moon, and all the stars... And this year, in addition to the many interactive toys, games, and puzzles, I found a way to give you your own star, your permanent place in the Universe...
This star is for you Harley... for saving my life, filling it with joy, teaching me the greatest life lessons and loving me without end. You are the love of my life and my soulmate dog. You are my role model for being alive. I love you to the moon and back...
Happy 9th Birthday, and many, many, many more!
Merry Christmas !
Happy Birthday Harley
